This course introduces students to the basics of economic theory and develops the analytical tools and techniques needed to address economic issues. The course covers a range of related topics including financial statement analysis, the time value of money, risk and return. and the valuation of stocks and bonds. Students will be responsible for any current financial issues. problems, and significant events discussed in class.
