ACCT 510 - FOUNDATIONS OF ACCOUNTING |
This course introduces students to the basics of financial accounting, which provides financial information about a business. Classifying the data in a meaningful way and summarizing the information in a useful format, called financial statements, is the primary goal in Principles of Financial Accounting. Accounting is the language of business because the financial statements communicate essential information to external users, primarily the investors and creditors.
