ENSC 290 TOPICS: SUSTAINABLE NATURAL RESOURCES. This course combines lectures, student presentations, seminar-style discussions and group projects to introduce students to concepts and issues related to the sustainable use and management of a wide variety of natural resources. Specific topics include sustainable agriculture and landscaping, forest resources, fisheries, water, carbon and ecological footprints, conservation ecology and sustainability on college campuses. This course fulfills the SCP portion of the TAS core for the Environmental Science major. Students from other majors are also encouraged to enroll.
