MATH 237 - DISCRETE STRUCTURES |
An introduction to the mathematical terminology, tools, and theory that form the foundation for much of the material in mathematics and computer science. Topics include: logic, methods of proof including mathematical induction; functions and relations; elements of set theory, number theory, and probability theory and combinatorics. This course is a prerequisite for all mathematics courses numbered above Calculus IV.
