EDUC 210 - YOGA PEDAGOGY: DEEPENING KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING TO TEACH |
This course is designed for students with yoga experience who would like to deepen their knowledge and for those who are on a yoga teacher pathway. The course focuses on the theoretical concepts foundational to classical yoga as a structure for yoga pedagogy. Students apply these understandings to the design of yoga instruction, including personal and community ethics, breath practices, sequencing of classes, and yoga meditation practices. Methodologies for teaching correct alignment and adaptation to students with special conditions and needs are also addressed.
