This course provides, for business managers, an in-depth study of information systems and technologies in a business environment. The course focuses on why and how information technology is used to meet organizational goals. It is targeted at future managers, making it clear why IT does indeed matter to them and the organization. Furthermore, it enables future business managers to Understand how information technology can be applied to improve the organization, Finally, the course provides a framework for business managers to understand their important role with regard to information technology. This course covers the Keys to Infonnation Technology Results, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Process and IT Outsourcing, Corporate and IT Govemance, Collaboration Tools, E—Commerce, Enterprise Systems. Business Intelligence and Big Data, Knowledge Management, CyberCrime and IT Security, and Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues in IT.
