(FORMERLY AMER-309) An examination of the Holocaust as viewed by the media. Over the last 20 years, films and television have increasingly dealt with the Holocaust and other genocides. This course will study the Holocaust, its place in history, and its impact on contemporary life and culture as represented in the media. Within this context, it will delve into the relationship between "Hollywood" and the global cinema.
