CMPS 310 - BIG DATA PROGRAMMING
An introduction to Big Data programming The course will include parallel programming models for large-scale data processing on large number of computing systems, file systems to store large data sets across a network of machines, tools to create and manage clusters of large number of processing units, methods to maintain data consistency during large-scale I/O operation on disk, programming framework to implement machine learning algorithms with large data sets.
