ARTS 305 - DIGITAL DRAWING & PAINTING |
This course intends to bring the visual sensibility and skills learned in foundational drawing and paintings classes into the digital realm. Students will consider what unique opportunities digital technologies offer drawing and painting. Using tablets to access drawing and painting applications such as Procreate or Photoshop, students will experiment with a variety of techniques to make compelling visual statements that unify formal, conceptual and technical concerns. A pressure-sensitive digital drawing tablet and stylus are required.
