SWRK 339 - CASE MANAGEMENT FOR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS |
(FORMERLY: SWRK 332 DRUGS AND BEHAVIOR) This course will provide students with an overview of case management services relevant to people with substance use disorders. The course will review four commonly referenced models of case management including: broker/generalist, strengths perspective, assertive community treatment, and clinical/rehabilitation. Students will also be made aware of the various resources available to individuals who misuse substances including: HIV, mental health, child and family, criminal justice, disability, and employment.
