NURS 647 - PRIMARY CARE OF ADULTS II |
This course will progress the student to provide care across the lifespan in the primary and community health care setting. The course will focus on health promotion and identification and treatment of complex health problems in family health. Using a systems approach, this course will examine alterations in health which are frequently encountered and managed by family nurse practitioners in primary health care settings. All aspects of health promotion, maintenance, and disease management are emphasized, including but not limited to disease lifestyle modifications, nutritional needs, pharmacotherapy, client education, rehabilitation, and evaluation of treatment plans.
