MUSI 271 - CHAMBER MUSIC |
The Chamber Music course is open to all Ramapo students. Small music groups (duos, trios, quartets, etc.) comprised of a wide variety of instruments ranging from strings, winds and brass to piano, guitar and voice are assigned to
match student interest and ability level. The ensembles perform a wide variety of styles including contemporary and traditional repertoire. The course requires the genuine desire to perform high quality music and to work with the director and fellow musicians to achieve musical goals. The Ramapo Chamber Music course provides each student with opportunities to enhance and demonstrate his or her individual abilities, as well as, build music reading, aural skills, stylistic understanding, and overall musicianship. Ramapo Chamber Music welcomes students from all academic programs. Students in Chamber Music must have some prior training their respective instrument or voice.
