COND 137 - KARATE |
The study of martial arts is the only activity that brings together the energy of mind, body, and spirit. The practice of karate will enable one to focus and concentrate on goals, and to assist one in meeting life's challenges with confidence. The student will learn basic kicking, punching, and self-defense techniques, along with the physical aspects of the art. Philosophy and history of the martial arts will also be taught. Students will need a uniform for this class. This course is not eligible for a letter grade--Pass/Fail grading only.
