CIVL 101 - LEADERSHIP SKILLS |
In this course, students will be learn models and practices of effective leadership and productive civic engagement. Participants will be introduced to concepts which inform leadership practice; such as self-knowledge, goal setting, commitment, collaboration, vision, team building, and civic responsibility. Students will participate in structured dialogs, share
insights from current literature, and engage key aspects of leadership development. Additionally, students will research effective leaders, past and present, and explore various leadership theories in order to develop or enhance their own leadership skills. This is an ideal course for students seeking or holding leadership positions on campus and/or outside the Ramapo community.
