BIOL 290 - TOPICS:
This course introduces undergraduate students to fundamental concepts and research designs used in epidemiology, an important perspective of population health. The course contents would assist the learners to build essential skills and competencies on ethical reasoning, comprehension of scientific methods, critical thinking, and ability to analyze public health information. EPIDEMIOLOGY: This course introduces undergraduate students to a population health perspective and allow them to build essential skills and competencies on ethical reasoning, teamwork, comprehension of scientific methods, critical thinking, quantitative and information literacy, ability to analyze public health information, and effective writing and oral communication.
