HIST 101 - EARLY AMERICA TO 1865 |
History 101 is a survey of American history beginning with the prehistoric settlement of the Americas by Native Americans, the founding of the first European settlements in North America, and the emergence of the United States of America up to the end of the American Civil War. Our aim will be to look at important changes in the broad scope the nation’s history during these years, while at the same time focusing on what these changes meant in the daily lives of Americans.
