ENST 340 - GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE |
The focus of this course are the on-going negotiations for an international agreement on climate change. Students will be working with the primary documents from various Conference of Parties (COP) meetings and will be monitoring on-going climate issues. The first half of the course will examine how climate negotiations fit into the overall matrix of international agreements, governance, and existing global political realities. The second half of the course will explore four specific climate issues that are important for individual countries, regional groups, international civil society, and the business community.
