NURS 311 - THEORY AND PRACTICE IN PROFESSIONAL NURSING |
Building on the historical and theoretical foundations of the profession,
students will explore the theme of health, the continuum of wellness to
illness, the socio-cultural variations that influence health and response to
illness, and the many dimensions of health. Nursing interventions are
explored in relation to ethical, social, legal, political, and personal issues
as students clarify their own professional identity, responsibility and power.
Prerequisite: Admission to Joint BSN Program as an RN.
