NRED 520 - ADVANCED HEALTH ASSESSMENT |
This course focuses on the development of advanced nursing skills and knowledge in health assessment of the patient from diverse cultures across the lifespan with single or multiple disease processes. Concepts and theories from nursing and the biological sciences are used in assessing individuals across the lifespan. The course will include information on health/wellness as well as common illnesses. Anticipatory guidance, prevention and early detection of risk factors and disease are emphasized.
