POLI 215 - POLITICS AND FILM
This course explores political themes through films. Students will analyze how political actors, institutions and concepts are represented and sometimes distorted on the big screen. We live in a world where the line between reality and representation has blurred, and where representations shape public perceptions. We will try to separate representation and reality and determine whether specific films deepen, problematize or undermine the viewer's sense of how politics work.
