A study of gravimetric and volumetric analysis, with an introductin to spectroscopy and separations. The course will cover the statistical evaluation of analytical results, precipitation mechanisms, titrimetry (acid/base, redox, complexation), absorption spectrophotometry, and basic chromatography.
