EDTC 606 - TECHNOLOGY IN THE CURRICULUM |
Technology in the Curriculum will bring together resources from leading high-tech companies to improve technology integration in the classroom for all disciplines. This course addresses the challenges teachers face in effectively applying computer technology to enhance student learning. Coursework will focus on the integration of computers and computer resources into school curricula. The class will incorporate the use of the Internet, Smart Board technology, web page design, and multi-media software. The assessments will be aligned with the State Core Curriculum Content Standards, as well as ISTE's National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETSS), a standard for educational uses of technology that facilitates school improvement in the United States. Each assessment will meet at least two NETSS standards.
