ENSC 345 - RESEARCH DESIGN & STATISTICS
This course is designed to introduce students to research approaches and statistical methods that are commonly used by environmental scientists and field/lab biologists. Real examples from the literature are discussed and students collect, analyze and interpret their own data for each statistical analysis. Proficiency in preparing and interpreting scientific graphs is also remphasized. This is a required course for the Environmental Science major, and it can be used to fulfill one of the math requirements for the biology major or as an elective for the biology major.
