ENSC 341 - ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY I
This course explores the origins, transport, reactions, effects, fates and analyses of chemical species in air, water and soil. Students learn about the naturally occurring chemical processes in the environment and the impact of man on this environment. Students are prepared for advanced studies in environmental chemistry by learning both theoretical and practical chemistry concepts applicable to such fields like exposure assessment, industrial hygiene and environmental engineering. (For Environmental Science students this course replaces CHEM 323 in the course sequence.)
