AIID 311 - DISABILITY STUDIES |
This course is designed to broaden students' knowledge and awareness of the disability community. We will study its historical development in the United States and the political struggles for full participation in American life. We will explore the social, psychological, and cultural influences that people with a disability internalize throughout their lifespan. In addition, we will explore the dynamics of relationships, which people with disabilities encounter.
