EDUC 306 - MULTIMEDIA IN THE CLASSROOM |
This course is intended to introduce pre-service teachers to the impact of the media on society and the potential for improving teaching and learning by mastering the use of multimedia in the classroom. The course will engage students in: (1) examining significant perspectives on the media; (2) viewing and critiquing media as it is used in society and in education; (3) mastering an array of tools for creating and using media in the classroom; and (4) developing examples of media that can be used in the classroom.
