NURS 201 - STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESSFUL STUDENT NURSES |
This course is designed to prepare nursing students to develop effective reading, note-taking, studying, test-taking, and self-management skills necessary for success in the nursing sequence. Students will identify their own learning styles and adapt learning strategies facilitating optimal academic outcomes. Students will be proactive in seeking out resources and solutions to common dilemmas encountered by nursing students. A high standard of personal conduct and professionalism will be discussed and critical thinking skills will be developed throughout this course.
