This course examines issues that must be addressed for the nursing student to successfully transition to the role of professional nurse. The emphasis is on the application of the professional role in the clinical setting. 4 credits (2 didactic, 2 laboratory) Pre-reqs: Patterns of Adult Health, Gerontology, Health Care Policy and Finance. Pre/Coreq: Research Applications in Nursing Practice. RN to BSN (electives) Lab Fee.
