An introduction to web site development and basic maintenance. Students will get hands-on experience in using HTML and CSS with modern editing tools including Microsoft Expression Web. Students will learn to enhance their web pages with multimedia components such as images, audio, and video. Additional topics will include web site hosting, web analytics, blogs, wikis, discussions, and chats. The course will also explore several methods of generating revenue with your web site, marketing it, using some dynamic elements of the site design and external web services. Most of the course will be offered in an online format. Lab Fee.
