SWRK 328 - COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH |
This course provides an overview of the field of community mental health. The course will examine treatment modalities such as assertive community treatment teams, intensive case management, and psychiatric recovery. Also included is a focus on the social policies which govern the mental health system, ethical issues in the treatment of mental illness, and current research on the treatment of the mentally ill within community settings.
