MGMT 341 - EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND PUBLIC POLICY |
An introduction to the legal and public policy aspects of employee relations. Topics include federal legislation relating to union-management relations, equal employment opportunity, occupational safety and health, and minimum wages. State legislation dealing with workers; compensation and unemployment compensation will also be considered. The course may also include a discussion of the historical development of unions and public policy in the U.S.
