ENSC 340 - ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY: LECTURE AND LAB
This course explores the origins, transport, reactions, effects, fates and analyses of chemical species in air, water and soil. Students learn about naturally-occurring chemical processes and human impacts on the environment. Students are prepared for advanced studies in environmental chemistry by learning both theoretical and practical chemistry concepts applicable to such fields as exposure assessment, industrial hygiene and environmental engineering.
