EDTC 697 - THE PROVISIONAL TEACHER I |
(off-campus course) Students are required to complete three phases of instruction (200 hours) in the Boyer Topics including: Class Management and Discipline, Instructional Theory and Practice, Child Development, Thinking Skills, Learning Theory, Brain Based Research, Special Needs Students, Assessment Strategies and Techniques, Cooperative Learning and Theory into Practice. Requirements: The student must successfully complete all requirements of the Provisional Teacher Program. In addition, students must submit and receive a satisfactory rating on two research papers which are due at the end of Phase I and Phase II/III.
